Dreamers and Temporary Protective Status recipients are aspiring Americans who work and study in our classrooms and live in our communities.
The Dream and Promise Act of 2019 provides a path to citizenship to Dreamers, who were brought to this country as minors and who know no other country as home. It also includes protections for families who have been living with the uncertainty of having their Temporary Protected Status (TPS) revoked—including 3,300 teachers and college professors.
Creating great public schools for every child means advocating for ALL of our country’s educators, students and their families.
Email your Representative and tell them to support the Dream and Promise Act.
