As s speech language pathologist for the last 25 years and a social worker concentrating on elementary aged to high school aged youth prior, this is spot on for what we need to get these kids some mental health service. Many young students are deeply disturbed. They need counselors, social workers, special and regular educators who have the knowledge on how to get help for these kids. I worked with many students on the autism spectrum, as well as students who had severe mental health issues. We then tried to convince parents to address these issues.
