U.S. Senator Mark Begich (D-Alaska), Chairman of the Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee, U.S. Senator Tom Harkin (D-Iowa), Chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, and U.S. Senator Jack Reed will host a Tele-Town Hall to discuss the new proposed bipartisan offset which will fund the student loan bill. Senate Democrats hope to pass this legislation immediately, as we fight to prevent the scheduled doubling of student loan interest rates on July 1.
